Quince, lemon drop, grapefruit pith, wild chamomile, gunflint.

Winemaker's notes: The soil gradient in Adriana and Martin’s vineyards moves between pure limestone and pure slate. In this weissburgunder, that translate Aging occurs on the lees (an anaerobic environment) in large, neutral Austrian oak and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Why we love it: Tension, tension, tension. This is one of the most singularly exciting wines to release this year at The Road… think white Burgundy, or an electric white Jura. Pinot Blanc has been having a moment, from Breitenbrunn to Burgundy and Alsace, and this one is the pinnacle.

Our first allocation of this wine sold out before it was even officially released. Luckily for us, Adriana had a few more bottles, which are on backorder now. Only 36 bottles available, for delivery in late June.
