Why we love it: The Cidre Sauvageon crew are part of a really cool, very talented cohort of winemakers, cidermakers and progressive environmentalists based in Montréal, QC. While their cider-making facilities are based in the city, they grow apples from vineyards in neighbouring regions, and have been busy experimenting with infusions and co-fermentations using local fruits, plants and ingredients that are locally supplied, grown and/or foraged.
On top of their thoughtful philosophies, these ciders are fun, quenching and absolutely delicious! Each shows a unique personality, which has been a delight to explore. Renowned, Montréal-based illustrator, Mathieu Labrecque creates the playful labels that really bring them to life.
