Winemaker's notes: 100% pinot noir, the name “flor” (“flower”) de Pinot indicates this wine’s aromatic presence. Not to be confused with flor aging (like Tres Cuartos), the grapes for this wine see just a few hours of maceration before a gentle press into neutral oak, where the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and extended sur lie aging.

Why we love it: FDP is electric, one of the VERY fun and probably the most unexpected cuvées we’ve brought in. There’s crazy tension here, making it an exceptional pair with a range of foods, and also just a beautiful wine on its own. It’s Adriana and Martin’s expression of the small amount of Pinot growing in their estate vineyards, and a beautiful example of rosé’s ability to translate terroir.
