Mireia Taribó and Tara Gomez craft this stunning Syrah from John Sebastiano Vineyard in the famed Sta. Rita Hills sub-appellation of Santa Barbara County (remember the movie, Sideways? We’re there with all of these Camins 2 Dreams wines!).

The John Sebastiano Vineyard is 15 years old and proving itself to be a “Cru” of Sta. Rita Hills. It sits on the eastern border of this sub-appellation, in west-facing hillsides that were planted in high density in 2007. Facing the ocean and just 10 miles from the coastline, this is already showing to be a low-vigour site. With the added benefit of a long growing season in the cool, maritime climate of Sta. Rita Hills, the resulting grapes are small, tight, oceanic, wind-swept clusters that produce hyper-focused, beautifully concentrated Syrah.

Classic high-toned-yet-savoury and concentrated black fruit notes nestle in black mineral, iron (sanguine), green pepper & spring blossoms.
