Oxidative-yet-reductive, with delicate white and yellow fruit, lees for days, lemon pith, wet stone, early morning fields, petrichor.

Winemaker's notes: 100% welschriesling aged under flor, this is Adriana’s nod to her Spanish roots – and to Jura. Early on, she earmarked welschriesling for its relatively neutrality (and high acidity) as a variety that might do well with flor aging. The 2023 aged for 24 months without being topped up (3/4 in the barrel), before it was aged unfiltered.

Why we love it: Dubbed ‘Tres Cuartos’ (three-quarters) with reference to the not-quite-full barrel where this wine aged, it’s a fascinating and utterly unique cuvée that blends Austrian, French and Spanish influence – with absolutely delicious results. The wine is at once taught and expansive, fine and savoury: the kind of textural white that we absolutely adore.
