Winemaker's notes: Juliette and Caroline Chenu’s Bourgogne Blanc comes from just one vineyard, Les Bruchots, which sits at a fairly high altitude just below the Haut Côtes appellation outside of Beaune (beside Savigny). The soils are quite rocky here - ensuring good drainage and heat retention. In the cellar, Caroline handles things carefully, with full spontaneous fermentation, and then aging and malolactic conversion in neutral French oak.

Why we love it: Our favourite thing about Caroline’s wines are how expressive and typical they are - as in, unmistakably Burgundian - perhaps best defined by their purity. This Bourgogne Blanc plays a perfect balancing act between freshness and a hint of opulence with its creamy texture… an excellent example of the charming and approachable 2023 vintage.
