Winemaker's notes: This wine is made with fruit from three of the Chenu vineyards, in and just outside of the Savigny appellation. Like all of her wines, Caroline handles this one delicately to retain its purity and expression. Grapes are always hand-picked and gently destemmed, fermentation is fully spontaneous. The resulting wine ages in neutral French oak and is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Why we love it: Our favourite thing about Caroline’s wines are how expressive and typical they are - as in, unmistakably Burgundian - perhaps best defined by their purity. This Bourgogne rouge is so expressive, with a beautiful mouthfeel and firm but fine tannins. SUCH a gorgeous introduction to the red Burgundies from this domaine.
