The Lieu-dit Carrière sits on an eastern-facing hillside directly above the Vorbourg Grand Cru. It’s planted to Chasselas, Auxerrois, Gewürztraminer and Muscat, in addition to Riesling. A really special site for these white varieties, which benefit from the more gentle sun exposure and extremely low pH soils (read: wines with incredible acidity and structure).
