Why we love it: THE coolest collab with grower and fellow vigneron, Alice Anderson of Âmevive! Of course these two are friends, and Mikey takes a little of the grapes that Alice farms in Ibarra-Young each year. It’s so cool to taste their renditions side-by-side… Mikey’s shows magnified black fruit, black pepper, black earth… you get the picture. A little savoury black olive brine lingers behind. It’s a wild wine, from what is now the oldest recorded Syrah vineyard in Santa Barbara. A very special wine.
